Midwest Night Vision proudly offers the RVM-14 monocular housing from AB Night Vision—a premium, lightweight design crafted with precision from 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum. This robust housing is compatible with standard mil-spec PVS-14 lenses and features a versatile side mounting area for PVS-14 accessories and mounts using a standard ¼-20 thread. For enhanced functionality, two monoculars can be bridged (using the RVM-14 Bridge) into a binocular setup, thanks to the integrated top dovetail. Alternatively, the dovetail works seamlessly with the RVM-14 Arm for single-monocular use. Both the Bridge and Arm are articulating, allowing the unit to fold neatly against a helmet when stowed.

The RVM-14 incorporates a rotary switch that not only powers the unit but also adjusts the gain. When turned on, the monocular starts at full brightness and allows precise dimming of the MX-11769 image intensifier tube as the knob is rotated. The unit includes a built-in infrared illuminator, activated via a push-button surrounded by a protective fence to prevent accidental activation. Visual indicators on the edge of the viewing area notify the user if the IR LED is active or if the battery is running low.

Weighing in at just 300 grams (with mil-spec lenses and a CR123 battery), the RVM-14 is 15% lighter than a typical single-AA PVS-14 while offering a 50% improvement in battery life. With a durable housing and matte black anodized finish, this monocular is built for rugged performance.
