Designed to solve critical real-world mounting and performance issues, the LANTAC SOL™ (Sight Over Laser) is a purpose-built, IR signature-reducing front sight system that mounts directly to the OGL (Optical Gun Laser) without consuming any rail space. Precision machined from 7075-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum and hardcoat anodized, the SOL delivers robust performance, reduced snag potential, and optimal co-witness alignment with your optics and lasers.
Tested under IR through a PVS-14 White Phosphor NVM, the LANTAC SOL™ consistently shows minimal IR illuminator spill compared to traditional folding sights, offering a low ISS (Illuminator Spill Signature) that preserves stealth during night operations. Whether under high-ready positioning, spot, or flood illuminator settings, the SOL drastically reduces reflected IR light on the weapon’s surface.
Its recoil-lug mating surface integrates with the OGL chassis, forming a unified assembly that improves structural integrity while reducing stress on mounting hardware. The SOL is supplied with custom extended Torx screws for secure, reliable attachment.
With no rail space required, the SOL enables more efficient placement of LAMs, grips, and lights—critical in modern weapon setups where rail space is limited due to departmental or mission requirements.
